Opening Day for Winter Wonderland: A Nordic Christmas November 15
It's opening day for Winter Wonderland: A Nordic Christmas. Join ASI for a day of fun for the whole family!
Create gingerbread heart ornaments, contribute to the community Advent Calendar, make traditional tree ornaments to take home to decorate for the holiday season.
Play a game of Swedish Christmas Bingo and kick off the Great Tomte Hunt of 2014! (There are multiple elves hidden throughout the historic Turnblad Mansion, can you find them all to win a prize?)
Take your picture and enjoy story time with Tomte (the Swedish Christmas elf, think of him as Santas cousin)!
Musical guests will get put us in the spirit of good jul. Take time to explore the ASI holiday exhibits including the beloved ASI Christmas Rooms and Tomte's Bakeshop.
Meet the authors and illustrators of some of the ASI Museum Shop's favorite holiday books!
