Olympic gold-medalist figure skater Evan Lysacek to host
autograph signing at Mall of America®
WHAT: Olympic champion Evan Lysacek took home the gold at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada, becoming the 13th American to win the Olympic Gold in figure skating.
Guests can meet the star athlete when he comes to Mall of America® to sign autographs on Tuesday, March 10 in the Rotunda.
Throughout his career Lysacek has won 11 major titles, including a World Championship, two U.S. Championships, and two Four Continent Championships, making him the most decorated U.S. male skater in the past two decades.
Outside of skating, Lysacek is a sports envoy for the U.S. Department of State, a position under Sports and International diplomacy, in which he engages overseas to promote the importance of education, positive health practices and respect for diversity. In 2010, he was the runner-up on the 10th season of Dancing with the Stars. Lysacek was also named Sportsman of the Year by the United States Olympic Committee.
