No Liability in the Library at Marin on Tax Day
MINNEAPOLIS (March 28, 2016)—Let’s face it—Tax Day is rough. However, Marin Restaurant & Bar, located at Le Meridien Chambers in downtown Minneapolis, helps make the annual filings a little less taxing with “No Liability” in The Library Bar on Monday, April 18. From 4pm to close, guests will enjoy tax-free cocktails and bites (or 11% off their total bill), including a special menu of cocktails inspired by some history’s most famous—and infamous—tax evaders such as Al Capone, Survivor season one winner Richard Hatch, Donald “I pay as little as possible” Trump, 90’s pop group TLC, and Bernie Madoff.
The “Tax Evader” cocktails are as follows:
Al Capone
Bulleit Rye, Carpano Antica, Campari
Richard Hatch
Flor De Cana 7, Fernet Branca, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao, Orange, Pineapple, garnished with a flaming orange “canoe”
Donald Trump
“100 % Real Trump Vodka,” Orange Bitters, “Orange Comb-over” garnish
TLC
Casamigos Blanco Tequila, Lillet Blanc, Dry Curacao, garnished with a lemon twist
Bernie Madoff
