Mobile Entertainment announces the new Segway Insider Tour! Starting at the Minneapolis Convention Center, the tour will take riders through the heart of downtown and show off the best of the city's sights, from famous landmarks to hidden gems. Along the way, expert guides will share secrets of the city, from tales of its intriguing past to tips for navigating the streets, giving riders the spark and insights to encourage further exploring.
This tour is being offered for a limited time (this summer only) and will give convention center guests, tourists and even locals an insiders perspective to our great city, including Loring Park, Nicollet Mall, the Guthrie Theater, the Minneapolis riverfront, Gateway Park, and the Theater District.
The tour features 15 Insider Secrets, which even a Minneapolis native might be surprised to learn, says Mobile Entertainment president, Bill Neuenschwander. For example, many people do not know that Minneapolis is home worlds largest skyway system which links 69 blocks over 11 miles.
This is the first tour offered by Mobile Entertainment that starts at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The tour company recently purchased the Show Hauler featured above and now has the capacity to bring 100 Segways to venues across the city, the region and country.
The 3-hour Insider Tour has limited availability and is offered at 8:30 am on the following dates:
July 1, 2, 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
August 7, 14, 21, 28
The cost of this tour is $80 per person. For reservations, call 952-888-9200.
The Insider Tour is Mobile Entertainment's fourth Twin Cities offering, adding to their established line-up of popular tours: the Magical History Tour of the downtown riverfront, including the Stone Arch Bridge and Nicollet Island; the Saint Paul tour, showcasing the state capitol and Summit Avenue; and the Sculpture Garden Tour, which also cruises along Nicollet Mall and to the Target Field. Mobile Entertainment offers Segway tours two to three times daily and can accommodate groups as large as 70 for a unique company team-building experience.
