New Location, Come Visit!
Building's sold. We moved around the block to 200N 2nd St - 2nd Ave N entrance...Come visit!
Our lovely landlords (since Aug 2009), the Hillmans, after much consideration, mostly due to increasingly prohibitive property taxes, decided to sell their buildings (in the family since the early 1940s) to a developer bringing specialty retail, a restaurant and office space to our former location. Though we were given (we understood) through August to run most of our season, May 1 the property management company confirmed that ATFS would have to vacate the premises by May 31. Luckily, our friends at the North Loop Neighborhood Assoc suggested we contact a realtor specializing in helping small businesses like ours. After a number of suggestions, we met with the folks at Industrial Lighting on the corner of N 2nd St and 2nd Ave N. We struck a deal and are very happy to be here (200 N 2nd St - 2nd Ave N entrance).
Space is great, and it's good that we get to remain in the "hood!"
Due to all the changes happening around us, parking is a concern. To make it easier on our "auto-bound" paddler guests, we suggest they park at Boom Island Park, our departure point for the Working the Channel Tour and shuttle to the Coon Rapids to Minneapolis and Minneapolis to Minnehaha Tours. This is working out very nicely!
