Dozens of artists feature work in Lowertown at St. Paul Art Crawl this weekend

In its 26th year, the Saint Paul Art Crawl is nationally recognized as one of the largest cultural events of the year, featuring more than 400 artists and live entertainment in venues across the city.

Nearly 40 Artists Showcased at Union Depot During
Spring Saint Paul Art Crawl, April 28-30

SAINT PAUL, Minn. (April 20, 2017) – Union Depot will be a hotspot in downtown Saint Paul when more than 30 local businesses celebrate the Spring Saint Paul Art Crawl, April 28-30. In its 26th year, the Saint Paul Art Crawl is nationally recognized as one of the largest cultural events of the year, featuring more than 400 artists and live entertainment in venues across the city.

A variety of visual artists will be featured at Union Depot during the three-day event on Friday, April 28 from 6-10 p.m.; Saturday April 29 from noon to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, April 30 from noon to 5 p.m. Art exhibits will be displayed in the Head House and will include work by photographer Bruce Siebold, painter Mark Lindstrom, potter Joan Miller, and many more.

Highlighted Artists:

  • Bruce Siebold – Eighty Acres Photography: For the past 26 years, Siebold has taken nature photos exclusively on eighty acres located near Menomonie, Wisconsin. His work focuses on nature and is featured in his book, Thank You Sun, which was published in 2016. For more information, visit http://www.eightyacresphotography.com/
  • Mark Lindstrom – Mark Lindstrom Art: A self-taught artist, Lindstrom’s oil paintings feature expressive movement covering a wide range of genres. For more information visit www.MarkLindstromArt.com.
  • Joan Miller – Grey Cloud Pottery: Miller was selected as a District Spotlight Winner by Art Crawl sponsor, the Northwestern Building. Her pieces reflect nature as an inspiration.
