MYSTIC LAKE TO HOST
CINCO DE MAYO CELEBRATION ON MAY 5

PRIOR LAKE – MARCH 27, 2017 ­– Mystic Lake is throwing a south of the border party in the North Star state Friday, May 5 to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. The free event features live entertainment, a free concert by Los Lobos and the World Taco Eating Championship, a competitive eating contest featuring local and national contestants.

Guests can also enjoy bead and sombrero hat giveaways, food specials including a taco and fajita dinner at The Buffet for $18.95 and featured drinks at casino bars.

Free live entertainment starts at 6 p.m. with Las Palmeros Mariachis. At 7 p.m. the World Taco Eating Championship with host Sam Barclay will feature twelve contestants vying for the championship trophy in the Grand Ballroom. Competition is sure to be fierce as Major League Eating champion Joey Chestnut will be going for the title. Prospective contestants can register now via Major League Eating. Guests can also swipe their Club M cards from 4 to 6 p.m. May 5 outside the Grand Ballroom for the chance to be drawn to compete.

At 8 p.m. Grammy Award winners Los Lobos take the Mystic Showroom stage in a free concert for Club M members. Guests can swipe their Club M card starting at noon on May 5 for a ticket voucher. Ticket vouchers may be redeemed for show tickets in the Mystic Showroom lobby. Guests who are not yet Club M members can sign up for a free card on site at Club M. At 10 p.m. it’s an all-out smackdown with Lucha Libre Mexican wrestling in the Grand Ballroom. For more details visit mysticlake.com/cinco.
