MYSTIC LAKE TO HOST FREE CULINARY EVENT
LETS EAT! FEATURING COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS
AND FOOD TASTINGS ON MARCH 19
PRIOR LAKE MARCH 5, 2015 Adding to the excitement of Chef Robert Irvine bringing his acclaimed live stage show to the Mystic Showroom on March 28, Mystic Lake will be hosting a free culinary event featuring cooking demonstrations, food tastings, stage games and prize drawings at the Promenade Stage beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 19.
Anyone with a passion for cooking or a love of food will be captivated by live demonstrations from Mystic Lakes own restaurant chefs. A chef from the award-wining buffet will show how to prepare and cook Blackened Atlantic Salmon, Cucumber Relish and Caper Remoulade, while a chef from The Meadows Bar and Grille? will demonstrate how to make Seared Ahi Tuna, Avocado and Jalapeño Corn Relish. From Minnehaha Café®, a demonstration on how to make Taco Salad will take place, and to end the evening on a sweet note, a chef from Mystic Steakhouse® will show how to make Chocolate Decadence Tarte with Fresh Seasoned Berries. Attendees will be able to sample all of the dishes while supplies last, as well as a variety of fresh-baked breads beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Executive Chef Richard Fisher, who oversees all Mystic Lake restaurants, will be available for questions about any of the restaurants or dishes demonstrated throughout the evening. Stage games and prize drawings will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and all attending will receive a special ticket offer to the Robert Irvine Show on March 28.
