MSFA Updates the State of the Stadium Dashboard
September 25, 2014, Minneapolis, MN - In July of 2016, approximately 7,500 workers will have worked more than 4.5 million hours building the new Minnesota Multi-Purpose Stadium. Hundreds of Minnesota businesses will have provided materials and professional services for the stadium. Surface parking lots in the Downtown East area will be replaced by hundreds of millions of dollars in new development of offices, apartments, restaurants, stores and a park.
The State of the Stadium dashboard measures employment, wages paid, Minnesota companies under contract and trades on the stadium site.

Stadium construction highlights include:
· The Stadium Construction Project is 17% completed
· 356,176 hours of work have been preformed
· 116 women, minority and veteran owned businesses have worked on the stadium construction, totaling $212 million in revenue
· Workers have been paid $12.5 million since December 2013
· 9% of all work hours are being preformed by women (Goal is 6%)
· 38% of all work hours are being preformed by minorities (Goal 32%)
