More than 100 Minnesotans to become U.S. citizens at Government on Display Expo at Mall of America
WHAT: More than 100 adults and children will join in a public naturalization ceremony at Mall of America® on Saturday, June 14 in the Rotunda.
The adults and children will become citizens of the United States at the Government on Display Expo, the largest government event ever staged inside an American mall held at Mall of America® Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14.
Featuring more than 25 federal and state agencies, the two-day expo is intended to highlight what the agencies do on a daily basis along with what products and services they provide to the American Public.
A few of the agencies participating include the MN Army National Guard, Transportation Security Administration and the Minneapolis Passport Agency. Activities for kids include filling out passports, fitness demos and flight simulations. Guests can enjoy entertainment throughout both days including music by military veterans and the 451st Army Band.
