MOA to host first-ever Culinary Fest
Mall of America® Culinary Fest to celebrate more than 50 dining options under one roof
Bloomington, Minn. (Oct. 19, 2016) – Mall of America® is celebrating all things tasty this fall with a first-ever Culinary Fest. Beginning Oct. 23, Mall of America guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of events that highlight the more than 50 dining options the mall has to offer.
MOA® Culinary Fest will conclude with a Chef Challenge, which will pair chefs from Mall of America restaurants with military veterans in a MRE (military ready-to-eat) cooking competition on Friday, Nov. 11 in the Rotunda.
Culinary Fest events include:
Progressive Dining
Mall of America, Star Tribune and Junior League of Minneapolis is proud to present four nights of progressive dining experiences. Guests can purchase tickets that include a four-course meal (appetizer, salad, entrée and dessert) including tax and gratuity. All proceeds benefit the Backpack Buddies program of Minneapolis, which provides over 350 students with take-home backpacks filled with nutritious food on weekends. For more information, click here.

Plant Nite
A select number of restaurants will host Plant Nite. Participants will creatively pot plants while enjoying adult beverages in a fun night of gardening. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for $45 that will include the planting supplies needed for the planting project. For more information, click here.

Salty & Sweet

Chef Challenge
In celebration of Veteran’s Day, Mall of America, Star Tribune and Beyond the Yellow Ribbon have teamed up for the ultimate chef challenge. Military personnel will be paired with a chef from a Mall of America restaurant in a cooking competition featuring unique ingredients, including MRE’s (Meal Ready-to-Eat) to crown one cooking duo the winner.
