MINNESOTA WILD CAPS REGULAR SEASON BY CELEBRATING FANS
SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild today announced details of its annual "Fan Celebration," set for the second-to-last regular-season home game at Xcel Energy Center on Thursday, March 29 when the Wild hosts the Dallas Stars at 7 p.m. on NBCSN and KFAN 100.3 FM.
The Hobey Baker Chairman, Peder Melin, will kick off the celebration by making the "Let's Play Hockey" call prior to the game. The Hobey Baker Award winner will be announced during the NCAA Frozen Four on Friday, April 6 at the legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium in downtown Saint Paul. The announcement will be televised live on NHL Network and streamed on the Hobey Baker website at 5 p.m. CT. Also before the puck drops, the 2017 State of Hockey Legacy Award winner will be honored.
The celebration continues with "Jerseys Off Our Backs". Fans will be selected randomly to receive game-worn Wild jerseys from that evening's contest, each delivered and autographed by the respective player in a special on-ice ceremony following the game. Fans who would like to solidify their chance at a "Jerseys Off Our Backs" Experience can bid for a chance to do so with the following players: Matt Cullen, Devan Dubnyk, Mikko Koivu, Charlie Coyle, Jason Zucker, or Nino Niederreiter. These experiences include two (2) lower-level tickets to the game. Head to auctions.nhl.com/wild to bid now. Auction closes at 9 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, March 25. The auction will also close out the St. Patrick's Day player warm-up jerseys that were worn March 13. All proceeds benefit the Minnesota Wild Foundation.
In addition, all fans in attendance will receive a commemorative team poster on the outbound, presented by FOX Sports North.
