CELEBRATE MINNESOTA TWINS OPENING DAY WITH FIRELAKE GRILL HOUSE & COCKTAIL BAR DOWNTOWN AT OUTDOOR TAILGATE
FireLake will be Serving an All-Star Menu featuring Minnesota Inspired Fan-Favorites
MINNEAPOLIS (March 16, 2015) To kick-off the home opener for the Minnesota Twins, on Monday, April 13, FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar Downtown will be hosting a celebratory tailgate just outside of the 31 S. 7th Street location. Starting at 11 a.m., Executive Chef Jim Kyndberg and his creative team will be barbequing an all-star menu featuring fan-favorites until the first pitch at 3:10 p.m.
Whether rooting for the Twins or the visitors, locals and out-of-towners alike can get in the baseball season spirit with delicious offerings including the Hometown Hamburger ($7) with Peterson Farms Limousin beef, a brioche bun, and choice of toppings; Grilled Chicken Wings ($5 for 5 wings) with a sweet and spicy poblano glaze; Kramarczuks Wild Rice Bratwurst ($6) with stone ground mustard and kraut; Pulled Pork Sandwich ($6), which is house made and served with a BBQ sauce and slaw; Kettle Chip Nachos ($5) topped with blue cheese crumbles, spicy ranch, scallions, and chopped bacon; and FireLake Cracker Jacks ($3) featuring a special prize. Summit Brewing Company will be joining the celebration with $4 ice-cold Summit beers during the event.
Additionally, fans who show their Minnesota Twins vs. Kansas City Royals ticket can enjoy $4 tap beers at FireLake two hours before the first pitch and two hours following the end of the game. Turn Opening Day into a home run and kick the season off with FireLake Downtown.
