BACK TO THE FIFTIES WEEKEND
KICK OFF EVENTS
Two Events on June 16 at Mears Park and Mancini’s Char House
WHAT: A “deuce coupe” of events will help kick off the 43rd annual Minnesota Street Rod Association’s (MSRA) Back to the Fifties Weekend, including a lunchtime celebration in Mears Park and a “pit stop” at Mancini’s Char House in the late afternoon.
Both of these advance events are free and open to the public.
MSRA Back to the Fifties Weekend presented by NAPA Auto Parts will be held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19. More than 12,000 street rods, customs, and classics dating 1964 and older will blanket the Fairgrounds.

WHERE: 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Kick-Off in Mears Park - 221 5th Street East - Lowertown in St. Paul, Minn.
An estimated 20 street rods will adorn the park and Hermann will entertain the crowd with music from the ‘50s and fun contests.
John Schneider, “Bo Duke” from “The Dukes of Hazzard” television series will stop by to meet fans.
4 – 6 p.m. MSRA Back to the Fifties Pit Stop - Mancini’s Char House - 531 West 7th Street in St. Paul, Minn.
Mancini’s parking lot will be filled with color and chrome as the MSRA, Mancini’s and Visit St. Paul host a free celebration,
complete with games, trivia contests, as well as food and drink specials.
Hundreds of street rodders are expected to come by to see the display will be more than 20 classic cars and their owners who
are stopping in St. Paul on their way across the nation as the participate in the Street Rod Road Tour eight-week road tour across the U.S.
Schneider will make be on hand for this party, too.
