Minnesota Renaissance Festival Entertainment Auditions
SHAKOPEE, Minn., (April, 2015) Calling all performers searching for their chance to shine in a world apart. The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is pleased to announce auditions for the 2015 season. The auditions will be held at the HUGE Improv Theater in Minneapolis on Saturday, April 18th & 25th from 10am-1pm. On-site auditions will also be taking place on Saturday, May 16th from 10am -2pm at 12364 Chestnut Blvd, Shakopee, MN 55379.

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival wants musicians, bands, performance ensembles, actors, dancers, singers, acrobats, stage combat aficionados, and unique characters, of all shapes and sizes, to showcase their special talents. No experience is necessary, and no skill is too small. If invited to participate, the festival provides a character-building academy to help foster the skills, fortitude, and excitement that bring to life our unique performance experience.
In the past several years, we have added unbelievable new acts: escape artists, Shakespearian stage actors, fairies, mermaids, and a cavalcade of street characters. Are you our next big thing?
The Minnesota Renaissance Festival begins its 45th season on Saturday, August 22 and ends on October 4. It is open weekends, Labor Day and Festival Friday, October 2, 2015, from 9 a.m. 7 p.m., rain or shine. The Festival is located seven miles south of Shakopee on Hwy 169. Admission at the gate: Adults $22.95; Children 5 12 $13.95; four and under are free!
