Minnesota Lynx Sign 2012 Draft Picks
Peters, Standish and Wojta all agree to contracts
MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed Devereaux Peters, the third overall pick in the 2012 WNBA draft. Additionally, the team has signed second round draft picks Kayla Standish and Julie Wojta. Per team policy, terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
The first chance for fans to see the newest Lynx in a Minnesota uniform is the preseason game versus the Chicago Sky on Tuesday, May 15 at 12 p.m. at the University of Minnesotas Sports Pavilion. Tickets begin as low as $15 for bleacher seating to the general public, while fans can sit courtside for just $75. Season ticket holders and groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets as low as $10.
The 2011 WNBA Champion Lynx begin their title defense with the 2012 Home Opener, presented by General Mills, at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 20 against the Phoenix Mercury.
