Mall of America® offers enhanced guest service initiatives for the upcoming holiday shopping season
WHAT: Mall of AmericaÒ is going above and beyond for guest service this holiday season, elevating the guest experience with solutions that are surprisingly simple for the largest mall in America.
Millions of people are expected to shop at Mall of America this holiday season, each one looking for a special and easier holiday shopping experience. Mall of America guests will be treated to several new amenities this year including a holiday trolley and Mall Hops along with the Enhanced Service Portal. Each customer service initiative is designed to anticipate a variety of guests holiday needs.
An upgrade on the classic bell hop, Mall Hops will be available throughout the Mall through Dec. 24 to be at the right place at the right time when a guest is in need of assistance. Whether carrying bags, making dinner reservations or pointing out the nearest restroom, Mall Hops will elevate the customer experience in a familiar, but uniquely useful way. Mall Hops will be equipped with everything from band-aids to breath mints, prepared with a full inventory of anything guests could need to keep going in search of the perfect gift.
To aid holiday shoppers parking woes, guests who park in the North lot near Ikea can jump on a toasty warm, festive holiday trolley, to be dropped off at the northeast Sears entrance. Once guests are finished shopping, the trolley will be there waiting to bring them back to their vehicles.
Additionally, Mall of America continues to offer a 24-hour, seven days a week service to answer questions for guests online. The Enhanced Service Portal is fully-staffed during the holidays with representatives available to answer inquiries via social media and a texting service offered by Mall of America. During the holidays, ESP becomes a go-to resource for guests looking for help finding that perfect gift, looking for a particular store or locating where they parked.
