BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (March 31, 2012) - The highly anticipated Facebook Timelines for brands launched yesterday, March 30, and Mall of America took the opportunity to launch with a bang, offering guests a unique experience to enter to win prizes. Utilizing the space provided in the large cover photo, Mall of America inserted a QR Code. This QR Code leads to an entry form allowing guests to enter to win the 20 Weeks | 20 Giveaways promotion in celebration of the 20th anniversary on Aug. 11, 1992. The first 20 people to snap the QR code this weekend will receive a $25 gift card.

Each Monday, beginning Monday, April 2, winners will be announced and the new giveaway for the week will be revealed. Everyone who enters between Monday and Sunday will be put into a drawing for a chance to win the prize.

"The new Facebook Timeline allows us to give back to our guests - to thank them for a wonderful 20 years with 20 weeks of giveaways."

The launch of Facebook Timeline also allowed Mall of America to upload and highlight nearly 100 memorable events from over the past 20 years. While people peruse the page, they will have the opportunity to relive little bits of Mall of America history.
