Shawn Mendes meet and greet + performance

Vine-star-turned-recording-artist Shawn Mendes will perform and meet with fans to promote his new album, Handwritten. Mendes made a name for himself on social media where he recorded music for fans and gained millions of followers, including 3.8 million on Vine, 2.9 million on Twitter and 1.4 million on Facebook, before signing a record deal with Island Records.

Toddler Tuesday: One-Dog Canoe

Families will enjoy a sneak peek performance by Stages Theatre Company of One Dog Canoe. The performance features a simple canoe trip with a youngster and her dog that turns into an excursion of adventure, music and creatures of the Minnesota wilderness.

Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year Celebration

Youth of the Year is Boys & Girls Clubs premier recognition program, celebrating the achievements of Club teens. Local Clubs select a Youth of the Year to participate in state competitions, in hopes of advancing to the National Youth of the Year competition where they can win scholarships.

Design Matchmaker with Midwest Home Magazine

Midwest Home Magazine presents Design Matchmaker, pairing guests with expert IFDA designers for free design consultations and professional advice on any home project. Designers include Kim Wahl (Eye Candy Design), Jennifer Kondor (Kondor Interiors), Nancy Cyr (Design Transformations) and Michael Wines and Candy Weisenberger (House 2 Home). Fraser Walk for Autism

The Fraser Walk for Autism, presented by BMO Harris Bank, is a family-friendly event filled with sensory-friendly activities, games, therapy animals, prize giveaways and more. All participants will receive an official Fraser Walk for Autism t-shirt. Every year, thousands of Minnesota families are faced with the challenge of navigating the complexities of autism spectrum disorders as one in 68 US children are diagnosed each year.
