Registered participants will receive a t-shirt and free admission to the Zoo on race day. Strollers are allowed on the course and the winning male and female runners will receive a free membership to the Minnesota Zoo. Registration for the race is open, and hundreds are expected to participate, so register early!
“The Tiger Tracks 5K & Family Fun Run/Walk has grown into an event that hundreds look forward to every year,” said John Frawley, Minnesota Zoo Director. “Of course, we invite all participants to stay at the Zoo after the run and enjoy the animals, the programs, and the atmosphere that make this a truly special place.”
The Zoo offers another unique experience beginning in October. Mark your calendar for the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular. It features 5,000 illuminated pumpkins in an enchanted forest setting, where the art displayed on real pumpkins reflects “A Walk Through Time.” Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular runs from October 4-31, with member receiving value pricing each night. It’s a fantastic family event or makes for a great date night.
