Chicago, IL (July 15, 2013) Macys Passport Presents Glamorama 2013, a fashion extravaganza, launches in Minneapolis celebrating this years theme, Fashion In A New Light, at the State Theatre on Friday, August 2nd at 8PM. Sheryl Crow received widespread acclaim when she exploded into the music scene with her seven-times platinum debut album, Tuesday Night Music Club and continued her success with the release of seven studio albums each charting Top 10 and four albums hitting platinum-plus. Her current chart-climbing hit single, "Easy" is off her forthcoming new album due out this September. To date, Sheryl Crow has sold more than 35 million records worldwide. This years show also features a performance by Cirque du Soleil, a group that has brought wonder and delight to more than 100 million spectators in over 40 countries on six continents. Featuring eight unique shows in Las Vegas and one in Orlando, Cirque du Soleil will showcase its Las Vegas productions at Macys Glamorama this year. Also set to perform is Macys iHeartRadio Rising Star contest winner, The Summer Set, originally formed by two Arizona-based brothers, a five-member punk rock group that started out writing tunes inspired by Jimmy Eat World and The Format.
This over-the-top event will once again benefit Childrens Cancer Research Fund® (CCRF). Childrens Cancer Research Fund continues to make medical advances that are life-changing for childhood cancer patients and their families.
