Macys Flower Show with Gardens by Bachmans will flourish with fresh one-of-kind floral themed masterpieces created by four designers from Bachmans and featured as the shows Bouquet of the Day from March 25th through April 7th on the first floor of Macys Downtown Minneapolis. These extravagant, larger-than-life bouquets will reflect the personal style of each master floral designer and take inspiration from this years theme, Brasil. Each display will rotate every three to four days throughout the duration of the Flower Show.

Sweets Bakeshop is a boutique bakery with a commitment to artisan quality and artistic presentation. Specializing in cupcakes, French macaroons, and catering, the cake artists at Sweets take pride in their hand-crafted and beautifully decorated products.

Cooking Demonstration with Macys Culinary Council Chef Tim Scott

Join Macys Culinary Council Chef Tim Scott as he shares some delicious Brazilian recipes. Be sure to check out some of Chef Scotts featured recipes at Macys Marketplace and the Oak Grill. Chef Scott started cooking professionally at the age of 14 and is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Scott is the corporate executive chef for Macy's North and is responsible for creating recipes and menus for twenty full-service restaurants and forty-five other fresh food operations throughout the country.

Specializing in Brazilian and American cuisines, Brazilian native Anelisa Ponpes is the head pastry chef at the North Loops newest establishment, The Public House, and a baker at Sweet Retreat Cupcake Boutique in Edina.

BATUCADA DO NORTE PERFORMANCE Catch the traditional Brazilian percussion ensemble, Batucada do Norte, founded by brothers Tim and Pat OKeefe in 2006. Batucada do Norte is a community group dedicated to studying and performing the many street drumming styles found in Brasil during Carnival. While here, visit with the folks from Honest Tea as they sample springtimes newest flavors.
