Let's Play Hockey Expo March 9-10
SAINT PAUL, MINN. - The 29th Annual Let's Play Hockey Expo, the world's largest consumer hockey show, returns to Saint Paul RiverCentre March 9-10. Held in conjunction with the Minnesota State High School League's Boys' Hockey Tournament, the expo is FREE, open to the public and offers a sneak peek at the hottest hockey equipment and merchandise, hockey schools and camps, training devices and much more.
Hockey enthusiasts can check out gear from nearly 200 exhibitors, including many companies exhibiting at the expo for the first time. Cutting-edge product demonstrations, giveaways, hourly door prize drawings and celebrity appearances make the expo one of the can't-miss hockey events of the season. In addition, a hockey memorabilia and sports' card show will take place during the expo.
The expo will have several interactive booths including a synthetic ice-skating area for kids to skate. There will also be a floorball court and several other interactive components that are fun for all ages.
This year the expo will also welcome the Hanson Brothers from the movie Slapshot, (who will appear Saturday from 10:30-4:30 P.M. at the Nice Rink booth) as well as Jacob and Olly, the social media sensations from On The Bench. Olympic Gold Medalist Amanda Kessel will be at the GELSTX booth on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Other celebrities are expected to make appearances throughout the two-day event.
The Let's Play Hockey Expo at the Saint Paul RiverCentre and the MSHSL State Tournament at Xcel Energy Center are connected, making it easy and convenient for fans to access the events. Last year's Let's Play Hockey Expo was attended by more than 40,000 hockey enthusiasts. The expo is presented by Let's Play Hockey, the Minnesota Wild, Saint Paul RiverCentre, and the Green Youth Sports Alliance.
