LEARN SIMPLE WAYS TO TRANSITION HOME AND LIFESTYLE FOR FALL AT FINNSTYLE
WHAT:
Using fabric is an easy way to transition between seasons and to add a personal touch to any home . Offering nearly 150 different Marimekko fabric patterns, FinnStyle will show shoppers how easy it can be to customize their surroundings using fabric at the "Fall for Fabric" event Saturday, Sept. 14. All Marimekko fabric will be 20 percent off in-store this day only. Shoppers can also view new fall products and partake in the following events:
Custom Tablecloths, 10 a.m. 3 p.m.
One of the easiest ways to instantly transition the home from summer to fall is with table linens. Customers are invited to bring their table measurements and purchase their favorite fabric pattern that will be sewn into a complimentary custom tablecloth.
DIY Tote Bags, 1 2 p.m.
Take advantage of the last few weeks of farmers markets and apple orchards with a custom, reusable tote bag. Self-taught seamstress and interior designer Alyssa Wolney will show guests easy sewing techniques to create their own tote bag using only one yard of fabric.
DIY Wall Art, 11 a.m. 1 p.m.
Sizeable works of art can get expensive, but not when it involves fabric and a little elbow grease. FinnStyle store manager Elina Ruppert will show guests how to make their own wall hangings using fabric. Shoppers will walk away with the ability to create custom art work that is interchangeable for different seasons or occasions in the home or office.
