WHAT:

Ford Motor Co. will showcase its 2014 Fiesta, which is the most fuel-efficient and innovative car in America at the Twin Cities Auto Show.

The vehicle is expected to redefine the small car driving experience with a projected fuel efficiency of 40 mpg. Its new 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine has been selected for the Popular Mechanics 2012 Breakthrough Award and Engine Technology International magazines International Engine of the Year Award in Europe for 2012.

Ford also will display its full line of vehicles from the Fiesta to the newest models of the Fusion, Escape and F-150 at the show.

Media will have the opportunity to speak first-hand with Fritz Wilke about the Fiesta. Wilke will be available to discuss the features of Fords newest Fiesta. These include its fuel efficiency through the EcoBoost engine, and its new technology features a 6.5-inch touch screen (MyFord Touch) and the MyKey safety feature, which allows parents to limit their teenagers exposure to risk while behind the wheel by configuring maximum speed and audio volume limits, as well as other safety controls.
