PRIOR LAKE, Minn. (July 15, 2019) – As the huge 10-year anniversary celebration came to an end, the Prior Lake Rotary announced next year’s country headliner, multi-Platinum group Lady Antebellum. After the most successful Lakefront Music Fest ever this past weekend with record crowds each night, the country group will help the event maintain popularity and success. The two-day festival will be July 10-11, 2020 at Lakefront Park in Prior Lake, MN.

Lady Antebellum is one of country music’s premier vocal groups. The trio of Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood has sold over 18 million album units, 34 million tracks with over 4 billion digital streams. Known for their 9x PLATINUM hit “Need You Now” which is the highest certified song by a Country group, they have earned ACM and CMA “Vocal Group of the Year” three years in a row. Other honors include seven GRAMMY awards, Billboard Music Award, People’s Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards and a Tony Award nod.

The Lakefront Music Fest announcement comes after they wrap up their event this past weekend which featured an all-star lineup including Brad Paisley, The Steve Miller Band and Joan Jett. Both nights experienced record-breaking attendance.

“We are thrilled to announce our 2020 country headliner will be Lady Antebellum,” said event Co-Chair Michelle Jirik. “And since we are announcing as early as we ever have, it allows the fans to plan ahead. Our 10-year anniversary was a huge success and we’re aiming to make next July even better!”

Additional artists are expected to be announced in the coming months.

The event was created and is produced by the Prior Lake Rotary Club who is proud to have the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) and Mystic Lake Casino Hotel as Exclusive Presenting Partners. The Rotary shares ticket sales from the festival with non-profit organizations including YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, and Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools’: Laker Athletic Booster Club (LABC), Patrons of the Arts and Activities (PAA) and Parents, Teachers and Children (PTC).
