Kerfoot Canomy Tours announce zip line grand opening June 14-16
Kerfoot Canopy Tours treetop zip line adventure is announcing their grand opening
the weekend of June 14 16th
Kerfoot Canopy Tour (KCT) is a 2.5 hour, multi-zipline, sky bridge, spiral stair case, guided zip line tour through the mature and dense tree canopy of the Minnesota River Valley.
Lee & Eva Kerfoot have always loved the outdoors, and especially outdoor recreation. After Lees father successfully opened Minnesotas first canopy tour, Towering Pines Canopy Tour, Lee and his wife decided to search for land near the twin cities to open their own. After a 6-month search they found the perfect piece of land full of natural elements including deep ravines, mature forests, and the ability to be completely immersed in nature! Now that the canopy tour is about to open they are excited to protect and share this special piece of land and this thrilling adventure with people who are ready to get out, get up and have fun!
For $89/person a pair of professionally trained sky guides will escort groups of 8-10 people through the course sharing interesting facts about the land, plants, animals, and history of the Minnesota River Valley. The 2.5-hour experience will culminate with the longest zip line, at over 1,150 feet long. Two of the zip lines will depart from the top of a 50-foot tall tower built on top of a 125-foot deep ravine. From the top of the tower riders can see for miles in every direction. KCT will be open year around for canopy tours in all four of Minnesotas wonderful seasons.
