MINNEAPOLISHennepin Theatre Trust today announced the election of Kathleen Gullickson, Director of Talent Acquisition for Best Buy, to its Board. The Trustees bring to the organization skills and experiences that include those in the arts, philanthropy, retail, politics, communications, real estate, business, law and finance.
Kathleen Gullickson has 30 years of non-profit and corporate experience in human resources, engaging passionate talent through her work. She has been with Best Buy since 2001, and is responsible for executive, corporate and university recruiting. At Best Buys Richfield, Minnesota headquarters, Gullickson builds a high-performing team to transform and advance this consumer electronics corporation. She has helped launch several new concepts for Best Buy including Best Buy Mobile, Geek Squad City and the Mexico Corporate Operation. After graduating from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul with a degree in Business Administration in Finance, Gullickson joined Robert Half, the worlds largest staffing service firm, and was a top-performing Sales and Recruiting Manager.
Gullickson has a tremendous passion for her alma mater and has volunteered in a variety of leadership roles for nearly a decade, including her role as the President of the Board of Directors with the Alumni Association at St. Thomas. She lives in Chanhassen with her husband Mike and two children, Christine and Patrick.
Trustees bring a broad range of talent to Hennepin Theatre Trust and serve staggered three-year terms. As residents of Minneapolis/St. Paul and the surrounding areas, they are passionate about the key role that arts and culture play in activating the downtown Minneapolis Cultural District and improving our community.
