JOIN THE WILDEST VOLUNTEERS AROUND AT THE MINNESOTA ZOO AND HELP SAVE WILDLIFE
Apple Valley, MINN – January 24, 2017 – Looking for a truly wild time? Become a volunteer at the Minnesota Zoo and meet new friends, learn all about animals, and provide an invaluable service to the Zoo and its visitors. Every volunteer helps the Zoo fulfill its mission of connecting people, animals and the natural world to save wildlife.
If spending your day amidst a lush tropical rainforest, watching Hawaiian monk seals glide through crystal blue water, or traveling to northern Minnesota excites you - you can do it all by volunteering at the Minnesota Zoo. The Zoo is seeking teenagers through senior-agers interested in volunteering in a variety of areas.
All volunteer programs are available including:
- Adult Interpretive Volunteers Summer Camp
- ZooTeen Volunteers (13-18 years old)
- Wells Fargo Family Farm Volunteers (15 years of age and older)
- Summer Seasonal Volunteers (17 years of age and older)
- Gift Shop Volunteers (18 years of age and older)

Every year, Minnesota Zoo volunteers donate more than 110,000 hours of service and recently, the Minnesota Zoo Corps reached its 3 millionth hour of service to the Zoo and was recognized with a national award.
