Be the first to experience Jul to the World, the American Swedish Institutes beloved Nordic Christmas exhibit and see the newly renovated Historic Kitchen on this exclusive ASI After Hours Glögg Tour!
Explore contemporary holiday traditions and farm to table seasonal cuisine throughout the Mansion in the beloved annual holiday rooms of the five Nordic countries (Sweden, Iceland, Finland, Norway and Denmark). This year, ASI welcomes a sixth country to the table, Mexicoin celebration of the diverse community of Minneapolis Phillips West neighborhood. Explore Swedish heritage traditions in the Turnblad Mansions historic kitchen which will be open to the public for the first time during the holiday season.
While you enjoy three unique variations of white and red glögg (Swedish mulled wine) at stops along the way, ASI Curator Curt Pederson will share entertaining, behind-the-scenes stories of this years holiday rooms, and ASIs community curatorsmembers of the groups that developed the displays in each Christmas roomwill be on hand to share their knowledge.
