"One Walk" to raise money for type 1 diabetes research

Turning Type One into Type None: JDRF to host 25th anniversary

“One Walk” at Mall of America®

WHAT:

More than 20 thousand people will attend the 25th annual JDRF “One Walk” at Mall of America® on Saturday, February 25 to find a cure for type 1 Diabetes.

This year’s JDRF “One Walk” is expected to raise more than 1.7 million dollars for type 1 diabetes research. Event activities include a kid’s fun zone with music and dancing, diabetes health and wellness vendor area, mascots and a heartfelt celebration ceremony in the Rotunda.

This is JDRF’s 25th annual walk and part of Mall of America’s year-long 25th birthday celebration. All 25 walks have been held at Mall of America, beginning before the Mall was even open to the public in 1992.
