Minneapolis, Minn. (December 1, 2016) –Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today the popular Italian operatic trio IL VOLO are performing concerts once more across North America in 2017 in NOTTE MAGICA – A TRIBUTE TO THE THREE TENORS. The tour will make a stop in Minneapolis at the historic State Theatre (805 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis) on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. Backed by a full orchestra, the young Italian operatic trio Il Volo will perform classic arias made famous by The Three Tenors. The vocal trio are set to launch their tour in New York on March 4, 2017 at the world famous Radio City Music Hall. The tour will culminate in Atlanta on April 3, 2017 at Atlanta Symphony Hall.

IL VOLO is set to pay homage to their biggest inspiration, The Three Tenors, and their tour will be very much like the concert they filmed in Florence this past July, at Italy’s famed Piazza di Santa Croce. This spectacular concert was the setting for their special airing on PBS this Fall.

In just a few years IL VOLO have performed worldwide, released top-selling albums, toured with legendary songstress Barbra Streisand and taken the stage for four acclaimed PBS specials. The powerhouse trio is now returning to the United States, following charting at number one on Billboard Classical charts with Notte Magica - A Tribute to The Three Tenors.
The vocal group were discovered and are managed by Michele Torpedine, who discovered and managed Andrea Bocelli, The three young singers, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble always bring audiences their best live performances of pop and traditional English, Italian and Spanish songs, accompanied by symphony orchestras.
