Inaugural Minnesota Craft Beer Festival comes to Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS – Tickets are selling quickly for the Minnesota Craft Beer Festival at the Minneapolis Convention Center on April 23, 2016. The festival will feature 80+ craft breweries, both national and local, offering enthusiasts of craft beer and brewing unlimited tastings of more than 220 specialty craft beers including both rare and limited-distribution beers.
The festival is being organized by Unfiltered Media Group, LLC, based in Fort Collins, Colo., publishers of Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine®; and Kalmbach Publishing Co., of Waukesha, Wis. This is the second beer event held by the partnership. The first event was in October 2015 at the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, Wis. Presenting sponsor of the Minnesota event is Dunn Brothers Coffee.
Beer tasting will be featured in one grand session on Saturday, April 23 from 3:00pm-6:30pm. Each participating brewery will bring a taproom-only or rare, limited-release beer for the session. Erik Berry of Duluth’s own TRAMPLED BY TURTLES will bring his bluegrass/rock music combination that will bring fans from Minnesota and complement the tasting.

General Admission and Early Entry tickets for the Minnesota Craft Beer Festival on are sale now. Tickets start at $39.99 for tastings and $19.99 for designated drivers. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.
