Hundreds to dance for a cause at Mall of America®
WHAT: Hundreds of local dancers will fill the Rotunda floor at Mall of America® on Sunday, March 2 with a mission to raise $20,000 for Minnesota non-profit True Friends.
The eighth annual Dance with Courage event will feature performances by Dance Arts Centre and Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders, featuring everything from ballet to hip-hop. There will also be an opportunity for guests to participate in dances.
True Friends is an organization dedicated to providing life-changing experiences that enhance independence and self-esteem for children and adults with disabilities. Two legacy providers, Courage Center Camps and Friendship Ventures partnered together in November 2012 to create True Friends, a new camp organization to serve people with disabilities.
