HIWAY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION AND MINNESOTA WILD ANNOUNCE THE 2017 “HIWAY HUNT FOR THE GOLD PUCK"
Finder of the gold puck will win its weight in gold

ST PAUL, MN—February 13, 2017 — Hiway Federal Credit Union® (Hiway), in collaboration with the Minnesota Wild, announces the return of a one-of-a-kind treasure hunt that gives prospectors the opportunity to win the cash value of the weight of an official National Hockey League puck in gold (valued at approximately $6,300).

Clues to where the Hiway Gold Puck is hidden will be posted on hiway.org/goldpuck, Hiway’s Facebook page and via @HiwayFCU on Twitter each Friday beginning Friday, February 24, 2017 and through Friday, March 24, 2017 (unless the puck is located earlier). There will be a total of five (5) clues leading to the puck’s general location, hidden somewhere on public land in Ramsey County or Washington County, MN. Should the puck not be located after five (5) clues, an additional clue may be added. The person who locates the puck will receive the cash value of the puck’s weight in gold from Hiway.

In the inaugural hunt in 2016, the Hiway Gold Puck was found in Crosby Farm Regional Park by Rob Brass of Chaska, MN and Steve Worthman of Saint Paul, MN. The two men found the puck, hidden in a sock filled with straw, shortly after the posting of the fifth and final clue.
