Nice Fish, by Mark Rylance and Louis Jenkins and featuring Rylance as Ron, is a humorous, mythic and visually inventive story based on Jenkins prose poetry that takes place on the frozen waters of the Upper Midwest on the last day of ice fishing season.
Aimed at busy parents, Play Care combines theater and child care under one roof. After youngsters are dropped off upstairs at the Guthrie Learning Center for an afternoon of movement, games and fun activities developed, led and supervised by the trusted child care professionals of the YMCA, the rest of the family can enjoy a performance on one of the Guthrie stages. Its the perfect way for parents to fit theater into busy schedules.
