The dynamic band, which spent eight years on hiatus, celebrated their return last February with the critically acclaimed new album In Time (The Valory Music Co.). In concert, The Mavericks showcase their infectious energy and eclectic sound, performing new songs and hits like Crying Shame, All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down and Dance the Night Away. The Mavericks garage band ferocity, their intense live performances and deep love of both romance and pure country are led by Cuban-American Raul Malo, whose rich supple voice is often compared to that of Roy Orbison. The Mavericks magic is amplified with polyrhythmic beats and the abundant talents of Paul Deakins on drums, long-time collaborator Jerry Dale McFadden on keyboards, the seasoned Eddie Perez on guitar and Robert Reynolds on multiple instruments.

The group, which originally formed in Miami, has won multiple Vocal Group of the Year accolades, Country Music Awards for Country Vocal Group of the Year in 1995 and 1996 and a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group in 1995, amassing a catalog that spans more than 20 years.
