PRIOR LAKE NOVEMBER 11, 2014 ­ Multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Sarah McLachlan announced today that she will be bringing her Shine On Tour to Mystic Lake. McLachlan will take the Mystic Showroom stage at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 7.

McLachlans Shine On Tour, which launched last June, has visited over 40 cities in North America to widespread critical acclaim. The Orange County Register described her performance at The Greek in Los Angeles as a captivating 2 1/2-hour set while The Vancouver Sun called McLachlan breathtaking.

McLachlan's unparalleled ability to craft finely tuned lyrics has led to an enduring career as one of the most beloved artists of the past two decades. On her latest album Shine On, The New York Times said "her songs materialize in grand resonant spaces and People Magazine said McLachlan still sounds like an angel. Verve Records will put out a remix of Monsters which the Boston Globe calls one of the albums best songs. Monsters will be available on iTunes on November 17.

Prior to the tour kicking off in February, McLachlan has dates planned at the O2 Arena in London on December 4 for the International Spirit of Women Awards. Shell also perform for Los Angeles public radio station KCSNs annual benefit concert on December 5 and the Y98 Mistletoe Show in St. Charles, Missouri on December 6. McLachlan will also visit Australia for the first time in five years in early February for five sold-out shows, with a sixth show in Melbourne just announced today. Tickets to see Sarah McLachlan at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 7, in the Mystic Showroom are available for $79, $89 and $99. $1 from each ticket sold goes to her non-profit organization the Sarah McLachlan School of Music. The school provides free afterschool music education for at-risk and underserved kids who otherwise would have no access to music programming.
