BUILD AND BAKE BRICK OVEN
GALE WOODS FARM
AUGUST 21, 2013 -- Join David S. Cargo on Saturday, September 14, from 9 a.m. 4 p.m., at Gale Woods Farm, Minnetrista, to learn how to build a portable stack-brick oven. After the oven is built, it will be fired up while students learn how to make dough for flatbreads, pizza, and bread. Bake all of these in the brick oven and then eat them. You will leave with knowledge about building stack-brick ovens, plans for three different sizes of ovens, and practice baking in the ovens.
Cost is $80 and reservations required by September 6. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference activity number #437402-00. This program is for ages 14+.
