Free Outdoor Concert Series Features the Music of First Avenue Every Tuesday in July
The Minnesota History Center’s annual outdoor summer concert series, Bands on the Boulevard, returns in full force next week. Local artists from the First Avenue scene will rock out every Tuesday night in July in honor of the new exhibit “First Avenue: Stories of Minnesota’s Mainroom.”
The concert lineup:
July 2: Porcupine
July 9: Heiruspecs
July 16: Monica LaPlante
July 23: Lena Elizabeth
July 30: Nooky Jones
All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m., and Bands on the Boulevard admission is always free.
For July only, the Minnesota History Center will expand its Tuesday free hours—offering free admission from 3-9 p.m.—so concertgoers can enjoy the First Avenue exhibit after the show.
Bands on the Boulevard is presented by Xcel Energy with media partner, The Current.
The First Avenue exhibit is made possible in part by presenting sponsor, Baird, and media partners The Current and Star Tribune.
