FOOD & WINE ANNOUNCES THAT VOTING HAS BEGUN FOR

FIRST-EVER THE PEOPLES BEST NEW BARS

Drink Destinations Across the Country Vie for Top Ranking

New York, NY (September 17, 2014) Today FOOD & WINE invites the public to begin voting for the inaugural The Peoples Best New Bars, presented by Roca Patrón. This is FOOD & WINEs first-ever poll to rank the most incredible drink destinations in America. Voters will determine The Peoples Best New Bars winner via an online pole at foodandwine.com/best-bars beginning today and continuing through 5PM on Tuesday, September 30.

The field of nominees for The Peoples Best New Bars includes 100 outstanding bars from all over the United States that have been open for three years or less. Each region will have a winner and the bar with the most overall votes will be named The Peoples Best New Bar for 2014. The finalists and winner will be revealed on October 2 online at foodandwine.com.
