FIRST AVENUE WEEKLY PRESS RELEASE: Tuesday, May 21, 2019
JUST ANNOUNCED:
The night after the premiere of Netflix’s Stranger Things, DJ Jake Rudh’s Transmission takes over the First Avenue Mainroom with "The Upside Down" an '80s Stranger Things Dance Party. Expect music videos on the big screen featuring a mix of pop, R&B, rock, and new wave—just like watching MTV in '85. See you at First Avenue on Friday, July 5.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony—the only group out there that can say that they worked with the late artists 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Eazy-E, and Big Pun while they were still alive—hit the Cabooze Outdoor Plaza on Friday, July 19.
Acclaimed singer/songwriter Tyler Childers is set to release his highly anticipated new album Country Squire on August 2, produced by Sturgill Simpson and David Ferguson. He celebrates the release with an extensive tour, including stops on November 3 and November 4 in the First Avenue Mainroom.
