First Avenue celebrates Minneapolis music on Friday, March 9 with three local co-headliners. Meet Reina Del Cid: part singer-songwriter group, part rock band, these artists is at the intersection of lyrical storytelling, catchy riffs, and scorching solos; the cinematic Marah in the Mainsail is dark and mysterious at its core, and Farewell Milwaukeeembraces their Midwestern roots with authentic lyrics, lush vocal harmonies, and an honest sincerity at live shows. Friday Night Lights at First Avenue features DJs Shannon Blowtorch, Adonia, Sophia Eris, and Rowsheen spinning party anthems, funk, hip-hop, throwbacks, top 40, and more. The 7th St Entry will host local rock favorites: The Missing Letters, The Modern Era, Porcupine, and Toy Planes.

First Avenue presents Purple Party: Late Night Tribute to the Minneapolis Sound featuring DJs Lenka Paris, Dudley D, Greenery, DJ Verb X, and DJ Smitty & Roy Freedom. Alternatively, escape the crowds with our Big Game on The Big Screen watch party at the Turf Club.
