The city of Saint Paul will host the first of four Red Bull Crashed Ice events (celebrating the extreme sport of Ice cross downhill) on the frozen banks of the Mississippi River on January 19 and 20. Following the Saturday finals, folks can head to the Red Bull Crashed Ice Afterparty featuring Paper Diamond, Shredders, and Mike 2600 at the Palace Theatre on Saturday, January 20.

Originally hailing from El Paso, Texas, the now-Brooklyn-based Cigarettes After Sex have added new 2018 tour dates, which include a stop in the First Avenue Mainroom on Sunday, April 15. Fans of Low, DIIV, and Beach House should check out the ambient pop group this spring.

Sylvan Esso blew Minneapolis away with their brand of infectious, nearly-perfect pop songs—not to mention a killer light show—at two sold-out nights in the Mainroom this summer. The duo will return for another summer evening; catch Sylvan Esso outdoors at Surly Brewing Festival Field on Friday, July 20.

Tickets for these events are on sale this Friday, December 8.
