Craig Finn & The Uptown Controllers will be performing at the Turf Club and the Triple Rock for two shows with special guest John K. Samson (The Weakerthans) this October. Finn and Samson swing through St. Paul with a night at the Turf on Wednesday, October 18, followed by a show at the Triple Rock on Friday, October 20. Tickets for both shows are onsale Friday, August 11 at 12 p.m.

Gavin DeGraw will be hitting the First Avenue Mainroom on Thursday, October 19. DeGraw is currently on the road for the Gavin DeGraw RAW Tour, which will showcase songs from DeGraw’s entire catalogue performed as a trio for the very first time in the US-and he will be diving deep into his catalogue presenting his songs in their truest live form. Tickets are onsale Friday, August 11 at 12 p.m.

Comedic powerhouses Ilana Glazer (Comedy Central’s Broad City) and Phoebe Robinson (WNYC’s 2 Dope Queens) have teamed up for the YQY (Yaaas Queen Yaaas) Comedy Tour. The eleven-city tour features a stop at the Fitzgerald Theater on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Local presale begins Wednesday, August 9 at 10 a.m., and public onsale is Friday, August 11 at 12 p.m.

Just in time for International Cat Day, we’re featuring Rebel, Rebel Rock For Pussy XIII–A Tribute To David Bowie returns to First Avenue this Friday, August 11. The All-Star Band led by John Eller (The Shiny Lights) features a local hit-list a mile long (Leslie Ball, Chan Poling, Har Mar Superstar, Lori Barbero, and more) and is hosted by Mary Lucia (The Current) and Dave Campbell. Feline like a fun night out? The event benefits Feline Rescue, so get your tickets meow. A great night benefitting a great cause; you’ve cat to be kitten us!
