TO CELEBRATE MINNESOTA TWINS HOME OPENER

Welcoming Baseball Lovers for a Day of Grilling to Kick-off the Season and a Sneak Peak of the New FireLake Downtown

MINNEAPOLIS (April 3, 2014) FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar Downtown Minneapolis, the lauded restaurant helmed by Executive Chef Jim Kyndberg will offer patrons a sneak peek into the new FireLake, re-opening in mid-spring to a new design and refreshed menu.

With the Minnesota Twins home opener set for Monday, April 7^th, 2014, the restaurant, which features cuisine from Minnesotas heartland, will be welcoming the spring and baseball season with a 4-hour celebration just outside of the 31 S. 7^th street location. Taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the festivities will allow for guests to catch a delicious bite prior to the 3:10 p.m. first pitch between the Minnesota Twins and the Oakland Athletics.

Serving as an opening day rally, guests will be able to participate in the splendor of celebrating the Twins with a delectable menu. Blue Ox Burgers of Peterson Farms Limousin beef stuffed with AmaBlu cheese, bacon marmalade and ox tail ragu; Dry Rub Chicken Wings with fresh lemon and quick pickles; Sweet Potato Fries and a trio of sauces; Walleye Sliders with a lemon tarragon remoulade; Wild Acres Turkey Burger with Wisconsin brie, caramelized onions and sherry scallion sauce; Foot Long Hot Dog topped with turkey chili, onions and cheese and FireLake Cracker Jacks will all round-out the themed offerings.

Following Opening Day, FireLake will soon re-open its doors, providing guests a new experience of unparalleled design and welcoming ambiance paired with delectable cuisine and refreshing seasonal cocktails from FireLakes talented culinary and beverage team.
