Firelake Grill House & Cocktail Bar awarded "Project of the Year"
FIRELAKE GRILL HOUSE & COCKTAIL BAR AWARDED PROJECT OF THE YEAR

Bloomington, MN (April 17, 2014) FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar (2100 Killebrew Drive), the signature restaurant at Radisson Blu Mall of America received the Project of the Year award from Foodservice Equipment & Supplies Magazine (FE&S). Helmed by Executive Chef Paul Lynch, the restaurant was honored for its small kitchen footprint in comparison to a high production rate. In addition to a beautiful bar, furnishings, and menu, the open kitchen and the narrow back kitchen handling all prep made the restaurant stand out amongst the 2013 nominees.
FireLake does a wonderful job of marrying form and function to create a foodservice operation that makes the most effective and efficient use of labor and space, said FE&S Editor Joseph Carbonara. The net result is a wonderful dining experience for guests in a facility that provides a good return on the owners investment.
Nominations for the award were culled from monthly Project of the Month winners, a title awarded to FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar in September, 2013. Projects were submitted by consultants, foodservice dealers, architects, and others in the restaurant and design industry for selection by the FE&S staff. All aspects of the space were considered including the menu from Paul Lynch, interior design from Jim Hamilton of Graven Images, and architecture design from Elness Swenson Graham Architects.

Lynch and FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar will be acknowledged at the 2014 Dealer of the Year and Industry Awards gala, which takes place at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago on May 17, 2014 during the National Restaurant Associations trade show.
