MINNEAPOLIS (September 13, 2012) The Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam®, the worlds premier monster truck series and part of the SUBWAY® Motorsports Series, will invade the Dome for the final time on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at 7 p.m.
The United States Hot Rod Associations first event in the Metrodome was in 1989. Since then, the Dome has hosted 41 Monster Jams to the entertainment of millions.
The Metrodomes Monster Jam finale will feature an elite line-up of trucks and drivers, including the Anderson boys father and legendary Grave Digger driver® Dennis along with sons Adam and Ryan in Grave Digger the Legend and Son-uva Digger respectively.
Fans will not want to miss being part of Metrodome and Monster Jam history. Capacity crowds are expected for this epic event. The next Monster Jam event in Minneapolis wont be held until the new stadium is built two years from now. So, the public is encouraged to purchase tickets early.
Tickets will be available beginning September 16 at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 800-745-3000. Prices start at $20 for adults and $10 for children (ages 2 12). Tickets will also be available at the Metrodome Box Office beginning November 25 (cash only).
A SUBWAY® Party in the Pits will be held from 12:30 - 5 p.m., prior to the 7 p.m. show on the Metrodome floor. The pre-show pit party gives fans (with a pit pass and event ticket) the chance to see the monster trucks up close, meet drivers, take pictures and get autographs. Pit passes will be available for free at all participating SUBWAY® restaurants from Nov. 25 Dec. 6, or while supplies last.
