Extreme Sandbox: 19 tons of fun at the 2014 Minnesota State Fair
Extreme Sandbox is excited to announce the Get Extreme The Heavy Equipment Adventure at the 2014 Minnesota
State Fair. On Thursday, 8/21 they will have this ONE DAY only event where the general public can come experience
the thrill of operating a 19 ton excavator.FOR FREE!
  • Hastings, MN Extreme Sandbox is excited to announce several activities they will be participating in at the 2014
  • Minnesota State Fair. All media is welcome to come experience this adventure on their own OR come along for a
  • thrilling ride on the fire truck during the daily parade!
  • Thursday, 8/21, 8am-8pm (ONE DAY ONLY EXHIBIT)
  • Get Extreme The Heavy Equipment Adventure
  • Location Cooper St/Murphy Ave (NE Corner of Fairgrounds)
  • Come operate a real CAT 314E excavator! Instructors will be on hand to give the fairgoers a shot at
  • some Excavator Basketball and other fun games using our 19 ton excavator.
  • Lots of additional CAT equipment will be on hand for the general public to check out (including skid
  • steers, front end loader, mini excavator, and dump truck)
  • Extreme Fire Truck will be on display and providing limited water experiences
  • Equipment provided courtesy of Ziegler CAT
  • Daily Parade (8/21-9/1) 2pm
  • Extreme Fire Truck will be in the daily parade for all 12 days of the fair
  • Come check out our VERY WET experience watch them unload 750 gallons of water using their 1500
  • GPM deck gun to shoot water over 100ft in front of the truck (all during the parade).
Check out the parade on the weekends and additionally see a parade of CAT construction toys
