Green Line Checklist Food Tour
Two different tour routes offered
Saint Paul, Minn. (Sept. 16, 2016) - This fall the Minnesota Historical Society is partnering with The Heavy Table and the Asian Economic Development Association on a new tour series: the Green Line Checklist Food Tour.
This new tour series will lead attendees through the unique culture and flavors of the Little Mekong neighborhood in St. Paul. Two different tours are offered, “Bakeries and Buns,” which takes people to Trung Nam French Bakery and Silhouette Bakery, and a “Happy Hour” tour with stops at Lao Thai, Thai Cafe and Mai Village.
The tour series is based on The Heavy Table’s Green Line Checklist blog series exploring the restaurants, shops and food trucks of the light rail corridor.
Two different tour routes are offered:
- Bakeries and Buns, Sept. 24 and Oct. 1
- Happy Hour, Sept. 22 and Oct. 6
